“Adorable little accelerator” – in SciShow
A worthwhile episode of the SciShow is about our accelerator on a chip – but the entire history of accelerators is presented in a wonderfully clear way in about 12 minutes, starting with cathode rays and the cathode ray tube. After about 10 minutes, the program culminates in our results and those of our partners from Stanford and Darmstadt. Not only is this episode worth watching, many of the comments are also worth reading. For example, “I suddently imagine cancer treatment with the size of those multi color pens that kids use in schools.” or “Great video! I think it’s called a proof on concept. Not exactly nothing.”
